Alterations

At Maison21, we are committed to ensuring the perfect fit for all our customers. Below are the details regarding our alterations policy for both Ready-to Wear and Made-to-Measure garments.

Ready-to-Wear Alterations

For Ready-to-Wear suits and trousers, we leave the trouser hem unfinished. This allows us to take the perfect out-seam measurement for each client, as this measurement can vary from person to person. Once your measurements are taken, we will ensure that the trouser hem is adjusted to your specifications. Hem measurements are taken care of by Maison21 for all customers, ensuring a tailored fit.

Made-to-Measure Alterations

When you order a Made-to-Measure garment, we take precise anatomical measurements at the time of order. These measurements are recorded and stored in your client file. If, upon receiving the garment, it does not fit due to changes in your body size (such as weight loss or gain), Maison21 will not be responsible for covering alterations. However, if there are any other fitting issues, we will ensure that the necessary adjustments are made at no extra charge. To guarantee the best fit, we will take anatomical measurements again when you pick up the garment, especially if the initial fit is not perfect. This ensures that all adjustments needed are accurately accounted for

Second Fitting and Further Adjustments

After the second fitting, once the necessary adjustments have been made and the garment fits perfectly, any additional changes requested will be subject to an additional cost. We cover all adjustments needed during the second fitting to ensure your Made-to-Measure garment fits perfectly
