Wedding Suits in Toronto — Made-to-Measure for Grooms & Parties

A wedding suit from Maison21 is made to measure at the Markham studio: a pattern drafted to the groom's measurements, full-canvas construction, and cloth chosen in hand from Zegna, Loro Piana, Reda, Vitale Barberis Canonico, or Holland & Sherry. A two-piece begins at CAD $1,500 with every customization included — lining, buttons, and the full fitting process. A waistcoat takes it to three-piece; groomsmen are fitted in coordinated cloth. Turnaround is approximately six weeks: book eight to ten weeks before the date, and add a two-week buffer in peak season, spring and early autumn.

Groomsmen Suits in Toronto — Dressing the Whole Wedding Party

Dressing a wedding party is a coordination problem before it is a tailoring one, and Maison21 solves it at the pattern. Every groomsman is measured individually and made to his own pattern — never a pulled size or an altered rack suit — while the cloth is held from one bolt so the party matches exactly across different builds.

Full canvas on every garment, the same construction as the groom's own suit. Groomsmen who can't come together are fitted across separate appointments, with the pattern and fabric on record so nothing drifts between them.

Each suit is priced as an individual made-to-measure commission, from CAD $1,500 for a two-piece, confirmed at the consultation. For a party, book about ten weeks before the date so staggered fittings don't compress the roughly six-week make.

In practice the party runs in three moves: the groom settles cloth and silhouette first, so there is a reference to match to; each groomsman is then measured individually, together or across separate visits as schedules allow; and the finished suits are fitted before the date with time in hand for adjustments. One cloth, one maker, one standard — which is the part that off-the-rack coordination cannot reproduce. Book a groomsmen consultation.

Common Questions

How much does a wedding suit cost in Toronto?

At Maison21, a made-to-measure two-piece begins at CAD $1,500 with all customization included; a waistcoat takes it to three-piece pricing. Across the Toronto market, made-to-measure runs roughly CAD $800–$2,000 and true bespoke CAD $3,000–$7,000+ — the full breakdown is in our pricing guide.

When should I book for my wedding date?

Eight to ten weeks before the date, and add a two-week buffer in peak season — spring and early autumn. The suit itself takes approximately six weeks from final measurement.

Can you dress my groomsmen too?

Yes — parties are fitted in coordinated cloth, planned around the same date, with a consistent look across different builds.

Do you make wedding tuxedos?

Yes — tuxedos and velvet dinner jackets, made to measure on full canvas, including Holland & Sherry specialist cloths.

We're getting married downtown — do we need to come to Markham?

Fittings happen at the Markham studio — about thirty minutes from downtown Toronto via the DVP and 404 — and most commissions need only two or three visits. Video consultations cover everything in between.

What's the best suit for a groom in Toronto?

For most grooms the best choice is a made-to-measure suit built to their own pattern rather than an off-the-rack fit — it photographs cleanly, sits without pulling through a long day, and is worn again long after the wedding. At Maison21 that begins at CAD $1,500 for a two-piece on full canvas, cut from mills such as Zegna, Loro Piana and Vitale Barberis Canonico, with the waistcoat, lining and every detail chosen with the maker.
